SF Meeting Location Whole Foods @ 2001 Market St. Meet on the Dolores St. side.(There's parking on the street or below the building.

SF Meeting Time: 8:30 AM (departure shortly thereafter)

NOTE: Please only show up at Whole Foods if you have arranged for a ride ahead of time.

East Bay Meeting Location: Rockridge BART station. Meet at the bottom of the escalators. (There's free and ample parking)

Elevation Gain: 1270'

Description: Join us for a moderate hike to the top of the ridge in this unsung park. We will pass Dr. Belgum's defunct sanitarium and enjoy great east and North bay views from the ridge line. It's common to see coyotes so be on the look-out. We will descend the Mezue trail and return on the undulating Wildcat Creek trail. Those who wish to snack/lunch at the end may do so at the picnic tables in Alvarado park, adjacent to the parking area.

Bring / Wear: Please bring plenty of water and sturdy hiking shoes. Lunch is optional.

Rain Policy: Cancelled in the event of rain. Contact hike leader in the event of a rain forecast.

Dogs: Dogs are allowed in the park.

Trailhead Meeting Place: Alvarado Staging Area at 5967 Park Ave, Richmond, CA. We'll circle up at the far end of the parking area.  Google Maps link
