Description: Join us for our first visit to this park since the August 2020 CZU fire closed and burnt a significant portion of the park. A few of the trails we enjoyed remain closed. However, it's a lovely loop around Little Butano Creek canyon. Starting on the steep Ano Nuevo trail, we gain most of the hike's elevation. Then we head east along a ridgeback on the woodsy and sunny Olmo Fire Road to a peaceful redwood grove at Trail Camp for lunch.  We return along Butano Fire Road and Jackson Flats trail.

Bring / Wear: Please bring plenty of water, lunch, layers and sturdy hiking shoes.

Rain Policy: Cancelled in the event of rain. Contact hike leader in the event of a rain forecast.

Dogs: Dogs are NOT welcome in state parks.

Trailhead Meeting Place: Just past the park entrance kiosk, there are limited spaces. There are additional spaces 200 yards further; From SF, I-280 S to CA-92 west to CA-1 south. After 15 miles, turn left on Pescadero Creek Rd. After 2.5 miles, right on Cloverdale Rd. After 4.3 miles, turn left to enter the park. Google Maps link
