2001 Market St. @ Dolores (on the Dolores St. side); parking on the street or below.

Description: We'll begin at Rock Spring. We'll head over and down to Potrero Camp and then Rifle Camp. We'll then take Northside to International Trail before taking a beautiful unofficial trail to West Peak Fire Trail, and then up to the old Helipad. The views from that promontory rival those from the summit.
We'll be on another unoffical trail that takes us to Miller, Old Railroad Grade and finally Rock Spring Trail back to the cars.
The hike will include deep forest, open meadows and mountain streams. There will be a few short steep climbs, but overall not too difficult of a hike.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED A RIDE AND/OR CAN TAKE A PASSENGER.

Bring / Wear: Lots of water, layers, lunch, snacks and sturdy hiking shoes.

Weather Policy: Canceled in the event of heavy rain.

Alternate Meeting Place: We'll meet at the Rock Spring parking area - on the north end near the porta-potties. Take the Stinson Beach/Hwy 1 exit off 101. After turning left at the junction (Arco station on the left) continue on Hwy 1 until a fork. The right fork takes you uphill towards Mt. Tamalpais State Park. At the next 4-way junction, take the middle option uphill. Eventually you'll come to a fork opposite the Pantoll Ranger Station parking area. Take the right (uphill) fork. You'll soon come to a large parking area straight ahead.
